      1. Order and Confirmation

      These terms and conditions apply to any event organised by Treasure Hunts or its partners, as well as self-guided tours booked with Treasure Hunts.

      A treasure hunt is considered ordered, once the customer has accepted the offer in writing within the specified deadline.

      The order confirmation serves as the customer's documentation of the agreement, so please retain it until the treasure hunt has taken place.

      2. Payment

      • The price is stated in the offer and invoice.

      • The invoice must be paid no later than 7 days before the scheduled treasure hunt.

      3. Cancellation and Termination

      3a. For tailored treasure hunts, the following cancellation terms apply:

      • Cancellations are free of charge up to 4 weeks before the event.

      • Cancellations between 4 and 1 week before the event will incur a fee of 50% of the agreed amount, as a significant part of the treasure hunt will already be under development.

      • Cancellations less than 1 week before the event will be charged 100% of the agreed amount, as the treasure hunt will be fully developed and ready for execution.

      3b. For standard treasure hunts, the following cancellation terms apply:

      • Cancellations are free of charge up to 2 weeks before the event.

      • Cancellations between 2 and 1 week before the event will incur a fee of 50% of the agreed amount.

      • Cancellations less than 1 week before the event will be charged 100% of the agreed amount.

      3c. Cancellation

      • Treasure Hunts may cancel an event if its execution is deemed dangerous or otherwise impractical, including due to weather conditions, participants' health, or other circumstances.

      4. Terms for Tailormade Treasure Hunts

      • For tailored treasure hunts, the customer must submit a list of relevant terms, numbers, quotes or concepts no later than 3 weeks before the event.

      • If this deadline is not met, general solution words will be used instead of company-specific ones.

      5. Weather Conditions

      • Treasure hunts take place regardless of weather conditions unless extreme circumstances make it unsafe. Participants are advised to dress appropriately for the weather.

      6. Liability

      • Treasure Hunts is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by force majeure, including but not limited to extreme weather, strikes, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events.

      • Participants must comply with all applicable traffic regulations and instructions during the treasure hunt.

      • Participation in Treasure Hunts activities is at the participants' own risk, and all participants are responsible for having their own accident and liability insurance.

      • If a company, organisation, or other legal entity has booked a service and its employees or members make claims against Treasure Hunts, the customer must indemnify Treasure Hunts unless liability is incurred through intent or gross negligence.

      • Treasure Hunts' customers must ensure that participants in treasure hunts comply with traffic regulations and other relevant laws. Treasure Hunts is not responsible for any legal violations.

      • Treasure Hunts recommends that no alcohol is consumed during the treasure hunt.

      7. Use of Reviews and Logos for Marketing

      The customer grants Treasure Hunts permission to use their review(s) and logo for marketing purposes and on treasurehunts.dk.
